We Need to Come Together as a Nation and Ban These People

If you are on this list, text me so that I can block you

There are certain people in our society that, for the sake of our collective sanity, need to be banned ASAP. Here’s a list of them:

1. Relationship People

We get it, you’re in love. But must you pepper the rest of us with daily updates about your boo? Relationship people are everywhere o. On Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, everywhere! If they’re not posting about how their \”king\” or \”queen\” is the best thing that ever happened to them, they’ll use PDA to wound you inside keke. Please, what\’s our own business?

For the sake of all single people, enough is enough.😒

2. Gym People

These people don’t just work out; they make sure everyone knows they work out. From the endless shirtless selfies to the videos of them lifting weights, to the unsolicited advice about how you should not eat after 6 pm—it’s too much. Gym people, please, let us eat our shawarma in peace. We’re happy for your six-pack, but we don’t need daily reminders that it exists.

3. Tiktokers

Nigerian TikTok is not a real place. Every week, a new unhinged thing goes on there. And Tiktokers always want to drag everyone else along with them. If you’re not careful, you might end up in the background of someone’s TikTok video, nothing like privacy for these people. Please, we’ve had enough.

4. Forex Traders

I don’t know how forex traders do it, but they manage to slip “forex trading” into every conversation. You could be talking about something as innocent as what you plan to eat that day, and before you know it, they’re telling you how they make millions from the comfort of their homes and explaining why you need to “invest in your future” by joining their academy.

It’s not that we don’t believe in financial independence, we’re just tired of hearing about it.🙏🏾

5. Restaurant Owners in Lagos

These people have no fear of God because how does a plate of food cost as much as a down payment on a car? It’s not like the plate will be filling o. Lagos restaurant owners have decided that fine dining means leaving your stomach half empty and your wallet fully empty. The food might look Instagram-worthy, but the prices are definitely not. It’s high time we put an end to these outrageous scams.

6. Celebrity Stans

Clearly, these people don’t have real problems because every day, they’re out here fighting for people wey no send their dad. They’re ready to die on the hill defending their faves. Some even go as far as donating money for them. Is everything okay at home? If they channelled half of that energy into something productive, we might have solved global warming by now.

7. Yahoo Boys

How did we even romanticize fraud in this country? It’s insane. What’s more insane is that these Pablos and Pablets are further inflating our already inflated economy. They’re gradually making everything costly for everyone else—whether it\’s rent prices or the cost of an average meal. Me I’m tired o. They need to be banned, please.

8. “Anything for Me” People

You know them. They never call to check up on you, but the minute they see you doing well, they’re in your DMs asking, “Anything for me?” These people seem to have made it their life’s mission to use billing to wound everybody around them. Please, let’s ban this culture of entitlement and allow people to have peace of mind.

9. Abuja Drift Boys

These guys think they’re the Fast and Furious crew, but really, they’re just causing panic on Abuja roads. The way they weave through traffic, drifting around corners, and making noise with their cars is enough to give anyone a heart attack. And for what? To impress girls and show off on Instagram? You people don’t have homework to do or something? Let’s hear word abeg.😭✋🏾

10. Wig Vendors

Finally, let’s not forget wig vendors. Why are wigs so expensive? Abi there’s something else inside that I don’t know about. Wig vendors have somehow convinced themselves that their customers have to spend their life savings on hair, and they’re not even subtle about it. Let’s come together as a nation and put a stop to this madness before it’s too late.

Do you know any other group of people that deserve to be banned? Please let us know in the comments😂🤲🏾
