Night Class Survival Checklist

So you’ve decided to pull an all-nighter at night class. Whether it’s for cramming, escaping hostel drama, or forming serious student for your crush, night class requires proper preparation. Here’s your ultimate checklist, because without these essentials, the night might just finish you.

1. Torchlight

Using your phone as a flashlight might seem smart until it dies, and you’re left with no light and no way to check those lecture slides. Save yourself the drama and carry a proper torchlight. Your phone’s battery deserves better.

2. A Ringtone-Free Phone

Nobody wants to hear WHO’S YOUR GUY? blasting from your phone at 2am in the middle of a silent reading session. Put your phone on silent or airplane mode and your classmates will thank you.

3. Discipline

This is not the time to scroll through TikTok or modify your Fantasy Football team. Remember why you’re here: to graduate without shocking your parents.

4. Notebook and Pen

You’d think these are unforgettable items but you’d be surprised how many people skip them. Did you come to play or study? If it’s the latter, don’t forget your reading materials.

5. Snacks

You can’t think straight on an empty stomach. Bring chin-chin, groundnuts, or gala. But don’t overdo it and carry all your provisions. It’s not a picnic you\’re attending, please.

Snacks will finish, but good gist doesn’t have to.

6. Water

Reading through the night is thirsty work. Bring water or risk dehydration-induced sleep midway.

7. Power Bank

Your phone battery will betray you when you least expect it. Save yourself the heartbreak and pack a fully charged power bank (or one with enough power to sustain you).

8. A Serious Friend

If you’re not good with reading alone drag your serious friend along. They’ll ensure you actually open your books and not just your mouth for random chit-chat. Do well to drag them to read too, if need be. Best if you\’re studying for the same exam, you can revise together.

One thing your regular friends can’t give you is a constant supply of scholarships, internships and study abroad opportunities. TFS can give you that, just click this link.

9. Blanket or Hoodie

Night class can be colder than an exam hall with an invigilator watching too closely. Protect yourself so you don\’t freeze to death.

10. Your Willpower

The temptation to sleep will hit you at some point—or many points—but you’re here to fight the good fight. Summon your inner warrior and push through!

And that’s a wrap. With this checklist in hand, you’ll tackle the night like the champion student you are. Whether it’s your crush or your CGPA motivating you, make it count.

If you found this list helpful (or funny, or both), share it with your friends and let them know what they’re missing.
